July 25 – 26: In this 2 day class, explore watercolor and discover the possibilities with a variety of water-based media such as pencils, crayons, and paints to develop your personal expression and imagery. You may work from your own photographs or from still life set-ups. The instructor will provide demonstrations for all mediums. Lim encourages her students to explore and combine various mediums while using the principles of composition, value, color and space.

Supplies you should bring:
Ideas for the images you want to make. e.g Sketch book and / or Photographs
Any other colors of tube watercolor paints you may want to use. From the ones I bring you can get most colors, but sometimes it is not exactly the shade you wanted. Winsor Newton is a brand that has a good selection.
Heaver weight watercolor paper if you know you like to work on that.
Something to take notes on.
Some type of surface to tape your paper to. Foam core board works well as does any other smooth non flexible surface.
