Exhibit: Small Works Holiday Exhibition

November 15 - December 18

The Glen Arbor Arts Center celebrates the holidays with Small Works, an exhibition of original art that opens November 15. This holiday show features art work 12” x 12” and smaller, all priced at $150 or less.  A 6 pm reception launches the show.

As part of the Small Works opening reception, the GAAC will reveal the Gratitude Wall. This community project is a display of 6” x 6” canvases with expressions of personal gratitude. The Gratitude Wall canvases will be hung in the GAAC Classroom.

Small Works is enhanced by two related programs:

  • Gallery Talk | November 24, 2 pm: Thanks + Gratitude – A Year-round Practice. JoAnna Pepe, a counseling psychologist in Leelanau County, explores simple practices that can enrich how one’s sense of gratitude during a conversational discussion.
  • Holiday Open House | December 5, 4 – 6 pm: Live seasonal music, festive refreshments and a chance to enjoy the exhibition at leisure.

Small Works continues through December 18.
