Exhibit: Small Works Holiday Exhibition
The Glen Arbor Arts Center celebrates the holidays with Small Works, an exhibition of original art that opens November 15. This holiday show features art work 12” x 12” and smaller, all priced at $150 or less. A 6 pm reception launches the show.
As part of the Small Works opening reception, the GAAC will reveal the Gratitude Wall. This community project is a display of 6” x 6” canvases with expressions of personal gratitude. The Gratitude Wall canvases will be hung in the GAAC Classroom.
Small Works is enhanced by two related programs:
- Gallery Talk | November 24, 2 pm: Thanks + Gratitude – A Year-round Practice. JoAnna Pepe, a counseling psychologist in Leelanau County, explores simple practices that can enrich how one’s sense of gratitude during a conversational discussion.
- Holiday Open House | December 5, 4 – 6 pm: Live seasonal music, festive refreshments and a chance to enjoy the exhibition at leisure.
Small Works continues through December 18.
