Intro to Wet Felting
September 28 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm$50 – $65
September 28: Learn the basics needed for wet felting clothing, artwork, vessels and any number of other projects. Participants work on a variety of techniques that will help them grow and explore using resists and vessels to add dimension to the pieces. The basics of felting, not just wool but the numerous possibilities of fibers will be explored. Tips for successful projects—from knowing the fibers of different breeds of animals and the different textures you can make using raw product to processed fibers—will be discussed.
Sue Nichols’s love for fiber, combined with painting and knitting has led her to working with fiber in both wet and needle felting. This process has allowed her to combine creativity and use a totally renewable resource to make art and gift items.
